Denver East handed Boulder a loss in a 28-14 showdown.
Denver East quarterback Dylan Wigglesworth led the passing attack with 266 yards through the air, tossing two touchdowns and two interceptions. Aaron Franklin was also Denver East’s leading receiver on the day. Jay Barry contributed in the passing game as well, catching five balls for 71 yards.
Denver East’s ground attack was paced by Franklin who racked up 53 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 10.6 yards per carry. Franklin also tacked on 99 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Denver East will stay home and play Mountain Range, while Boulder will travel to play Westminster.
