Discovery Canyon beat Holy Family by a score of 35-21 on Friday, Sept. 20.
Holy Family quarterback Calahan Carter led the passing attack with 278 yards through the air, tossing two touchdowns and one interception. Ben Nappe lead all Holy Family receivers with three receptions for 104 yards and one score. Braedon Peters got in on the action in the passing game as well, hauling in six passes for 71 yards and one touchdown.
Holy Family’s rushing game was spearheaded by Trevin Johnson who racked up 52 yards in the game.
Next up for each team, Holy Family will play host to Roosevelt, while Discovery Canyon will travel to play Pueblo East.
