Doherty couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Fairview squad, losing by a score of 54-21 on Friday, Sept. 20.

Aidan Atkinson led Fairview’s passing attack with 360 yards through the air. Atkinson’s most prolific target in the game was Grant Page, who caught eight passes for 124 yards and one score. Jalen Page got in on the action in the passing game as well, reeling in seven passes for 116 yards.

Fairview’s rushing game was spearheaded by Devynn Holly who ran for 83 yards and two touchdowns in the game, averaging 20.8 yards per carry. Holly also tacked on 34 receiving yards.

Looking ahead to their next games, Fairview will stay home and play Rock Canyon, while Doherty will travel to play ThunderRidge.
