Monte Vista couldn’t quite keep up with a potent Florence squad, losing by a score of 48-19.
Josh Martinez led Florence’s passing attack with 99 yards through the air. Martinez also added 57 yards on the ground. Florence’s leading receiver was Maddaxx Howard, who caught three passes for 34 yards.
Owen Busetti paced the Florence ground game by accumulating 196 yards and five touchdowns in the contest, averaging 13.1 yards per carry. Busetti also tacked on 33 receiving yards and one touchdown. Jacob Kennedy added 112 yards and one touchdown on the ground, averaging 8 yards per carry.
