Valley couldn’t quite keep up with a potent Highland squad, losing by a score of 27-0 on Friday, Sept. 20.
Sam Hnizdil led Highland’s passing attack with 79 yards through the air. Colton Pettit was also Highland’s leading receiver on the day.
Holden Morgan paced all Highland rushers with 147 yards and two touchdowns in the contest, averaging 6.4 yards per carry. Pettit added 60 yards and one touchdown on the ground, averaging 6.7 yards per carry, as well as 54 receiving yards.
Jeff Gore lead all Valley rushers with 73 yards in the contest, averaging 10.4 yards per carry.
Looking ahead to their next games, Valley will play host to Alameda, while Highland will travel to play Holyoke.
