Clear Creek couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Peyton squad, losing by a score of 42-12 on Friday, Sept. 20.
Peyton’s ground game was paced by Brandon Hussey who racked up 206 yards and three touchdowns in the contest, averaging 12.1 yards per carry.
Bode Baker led Clear Creek’s passing attack with 101 yards through the air, throwing one touchdown and two interceptions. Tanner Younger was also Clear Creek’s leading receiver on the day.
Peyton will stay home and play Platte Canyon, while Clear Creek will travel to play Estes Park.
