Windsor narrowly lost to Silver Creek in a 17-14 showdown on Friday, Sept. 20.
Silver Creek quarterback Carter Closson led the passing attack with 155 yards through the air, tossing two touchdowns with no interceptions. Carter Closson’s most reliable receiver in the game was Dylan Johnson, who caught three passes for 71 yards and one score.
Alex Estrada lead the Silver Creek rushing attack by accumulating 39 yards in the contest.
Windsor’s ground game was spearheaded by Dax Polka who tallied 131 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 6.6 yards per carry. Caleb Jenkins added 60 yards on the ground, averaging 4.6 yards per carry. Jake Coakley chipped in with 50 yards and one touchdown.
Next up for each team, Silver Creek will stay home and play Mountain View, while Windsor will travel to play Loveland.
