Vail Christian earned a win when they defeated Rangely 34-22 on Friday, Sept. 20.
Anthony Lujan led Rangely’s passing attack with 107 yards through the air. Lujan also added two rushing touchdowns. Ryan Richens lead all Rangely receivers with five catches for 77 yards.
Zane Varner paced all Rangely rushers with 128 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 7.5 yards per carry.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Vail Christian heading to play West Grand and Rangely taking on West Grand.
