Lyons couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Wiggins squad, losing by a score of 46-0 on Friday, Sept. 20.

Cole Kerr led Wiggins’ passing attack with 193 yards through the air. Kerr also added 111 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Kerr’s most prolific target in the game was Logan Kerr, who caught four passes for 90 yards and two scores. Eric Flores contributed in the passing game as well, catching six passes for 83 yards and one touchdown.

In addition to Cole Kerr’s effort, Ryder Baessler paced the Wiggins rushing attack by finishing with 103 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 7.9 yards per carry.

Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Wiggins heading to play Flatirons Academy and Lyons taking on Yuma.
