Wray earned a win when they beat Flatirons Academy 14-8 on Friday, Sept. 20.
Tyler Collins spearheaded the Wray rushing attack by running for 110 yards in the game, averaging 5.5 yards per carry. Emmanuel Huerta added 91 yards and one touchdown on the ground, averaging 4.6 yards per carry. Junior Arambula contributed 91 yards and one touchdown, averaging 5.7 yards per carry.
Jacob Dube led Flatirons Academy’s passing attack with 113 yards through the air, throwing one touchdown and one interception. Deverick Dow lead all Flatirons Academy receivers with two receptions for 55 yards and one score.
Flatirons Academy’s ground attack was paced by Dube who accrued 34 yards in the game.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Wray hosting Brush and Flatirons Academy taking on Wiggins.
