GREEN BAY, Wis. — Broncos defensive end was taken off the field via cart during the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Packers.
Wolfe was immediately ruled out with a right ankle injury. It occurred when Wolfe tripped over the leg of safety while attempting to make a tackle on a Green Bay run play. Wolfe writhed in pain on Lambeau Field as he was attended to by athletic trainers.
Wolfe, an eighth-year pro, was replaced at defensive end by rookie Dre’Mont Jones.
