The Academy couldn’t quite keep up with a strong D’Evelyn squad, losing by a score of 21-0.
Shane Bishop led D’Evelyn’s passing attack with 152 yards through the air, throwing two touchdowns and two interceptions. Bishop also added 44 yards on the ground. Mohale Mitchell lead all D’Evelyn receivers with two catches for 85 yards and one score. Thomas Lowry in the passing game as well, snagging three balls for 57 yards and one touchdown.
D’Evelyn was lead by Jude Mcintyre and his 41 yards in the contest, averaging 4.1 yards per carry.
Brandon Boston led The Academy’s passing attack with 225 yards through the air. The Academy’s leading receiver was Clayton Barrow, who caught nine passes for 108 yards. Francisco Diaz de leon contributed in the passing game as well, grabbing six balls for 63 yards.
Charlie States paced the The Academy ground game by accumulating 20 yards in the game.
Next up for each team, The Academy will stay home and play Middle Park, while D’Evelyn will travel to play Fort Lupton.
