Hinkley earned a win when they beat Kennedy 38-28.

Xavier Starks powered Hinkley’s passing attack with 197 yards through the air, throwing four touchdowns without an interception. Hinkley’s leading receiver was Jerry Taylor, who caught six passes for 150 yards and three scores.

Ty’ren Draper spearheaded the Hinkley rushing attack by running for 142 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 10.9 yards per carry. Dorian Fox added 67 yards and one touchdown on the ground, averaging 6.1 yards per carry, as well as 38 receiving yards and one touchdown. Richard Taylor added 59 yards , averaging 9.8 yards per carry.

Hinkley will stay home and play Sand Creek, while Kennedy will travel to play Thompson Valley.Kennedy has not reported any team or player statistics from this contest.
