Rampart earned a win when they beat Bear Creek 21-7 on Saturday, Sept. 21.
Rampart’s ground attack was lead by Logan Candelaria who tallied 76 yards in the game, averaging 6.9 yards per carry. Chris Yoo contributed 63 yards and one touchdown, averaging 5.2 yards per carry.
Bear Creek quarterback Jazel Riley led the passing attack with 113 yards through the air. Bear Creek’s leading receiver was Adrian Valenzuela, who caught four passes for 46 yards.
Bear Creek’s rushing attack was paced by Ryan Segovia who tallied 51 yards and one touchdown in the contest.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Rampart heading to play Vista Ridge and Bear Creek taking on Windsor.
