Stratton/Liberty easily defeated Peetz by a score of 68-20 on Saturday, Sept. 21.
Jaret Lichty lead all Stratton/Liberty rushers with 150 yards and three touchdowns in the game, averaging 30 yards per carry. Trevor Frank added 71 yards and two touchdowns on the ground, averaging 11.8 yards per carry. Alex Cruz contributed 52 yards and one touchdown, averaging 10.4 yards per carry, in addition to one receiving touchdown.
Peetz quarterback Cooper White led the passing attack with 55 yards through the air, throwing two touchdowns and one interception. White also added 87 yards on the ground. Cooper White’s favorite receiver in the ballgame was Nolan Hill, who caught four passes for 83 yards.
In addition to White’s effort, Michael Turpin lead the Peetz rushing attack by running for 22 yards in the game.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Stratton/Liberty hosting Otis and Peetz taking on North Park.
