A woman who allegedly was driving with an expired license and an expired license plate has been charged with careless driving causing death in connection with the death of a cyclist in Thornton.
Constance Anne Edwards, 66, is charged with the Aug. 10 death of Thomas Burns, 69, who was hit by Edwards’ vehicle in the 9800 block of McKay Road, according to the Adams County District Attorney’s Office.
An arraignment is scheduled for Oct. 29 in Division R, Adams County Court.
