A nine-vehicle traffic collision, including a vehicle rollover, shut down the southbound lanes of Interstate 25 just south of West Sixth Avenue for several hours on Tuesday evening, Denver police said.

At 7:45 p.m., police urged drivers to use alternate routes and avoid the area. One person injured in the multi-vehicle crash was taken to a local hospital.
One lane reopened at about 8:25 p.m. and all lanes reopened at about 10:55 p.m., police said.
