Resurrection Christian easily defeated Weld Central by a score of 54-0 on Friday.
Buck Coors led Resurrection Christian’s aerial attack with 165 yards through the air, throwing three touchdowns without an interception. Coors also added 80 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Coors’ favorite target in the contest was Colton Stahla, who caught one pass for 70 yards and one score.
In addition to Coors’ effort, Tanner Applebee lead the Resurrection Christian rushing attack by racking up 44 yards in the contest, averaging 14.7 yards per carry.
Zayne Stam spearheaded the Weld Central ground game by finishing with 49 yards in the game, averaging 6.1 yards per carry.
Resurrection Christian will stay home and play Berthoud, while Weld Central will travel to play Platte Valley.
