Rocky Ford won by just a single point over Monte Vista on Friday.

Rocky Ford quarterback Isiah Garcia led the passing attack with 105 yards through the air, throwing two touchdowns and two interceptions. Isiah Garcia’s most prolific target in the ballgame was Dru Jones, who caught five passes for 81 yards and one score.

Chance Finch lead the Rocky Ford rushing attack by accumulating 44 yards in the game.

Monte Vista quarterback Kaidon Wenta led the passing attack with 82 yards through the air. Wenta also added 129 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Monte Vista’s leading receiver was Jarren Chavez, who caught five passes for 58 yards.

Monte Vista’s ground attack was lead by Levi Trujillo and his 48 yards on seven carries.

Monte Vista will stay home and play Dolores, while Rocky Ford will travel to play Crowley County.
