Center earned a win when they beat John Mall 19-6 on Friday.
Center’s ground game was spearheaded by Abraham Echauri who tallied 129 yards in the contest, averaging 9.2 yards per carry. Devin Porres added 91 yards and one touchdown on the ground, averaging 5.1 yards per carry.
Wesley Van Matre led John Mall’s aerial attack with 48 yards through the air. Van Matre also added 153 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Dj Van Matre lead all John Mall receivers with one catch for 48 yards.
In addition to Wesley Van Matre’s effort, Francisco Figueroa lead the John Mall ground game by running for 17 yards in the contest, averaging 4.2 yards per carry.
In their next games, Center will play host to Centauri, while John Mall will travel to play Trinidad.
