Delta easily put away Bennett by a score of 40-0 on Friday.
Nolan Bynum powered Delta’s passing attack with 190 yards through the air, tossing three touchdowns without an interception. Bynum also added 44 yards on the ground. Hunter Hughes lead all Delta receivers with four catches for 110 yards and two scores.
Delta’s rushing game was lead by Cody Sauve who accrued 60 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 8.6 yards per carry.
Mac Copeland spearheaded the Bennett rushing attack by running for 41 yards in the contest.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Delta heading to play Aspen and Bennett taking on Arvada.
