Bennett couldn’t quite keep up with a potent Delta squad, losing by a score of 41-0 on Friday.
Delta quarterback Nolan Bynum led the aerial attack with 190 yards through the air, tossing three touchdowns with no interceptions. Bynum also added 44 yards on the ground. Nolan Bynum’s favorite target in the ballgame was Hunter Hughes, who caught four passes for 110 yards and two scores.
Delta’s ground game was lead by Cody Sauve who ran for 60 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 8.6 yards per carry.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Delta heading to play Aspen and Bennett taking on Arvada.
