Denver Christian couldn’t quite keep up with a potent Elbert squad, losing by a score of 38-0 on Friday.
Nathan Tornone led Elbert’s aerial attack with 85 yards through the air. Tornone also added 50 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Sebastian Rose lead all Elbert receivers with three catches for 30 yards.
Kade Bitterman lead all Elbert rushers with 208 yards and three touchdowns in the contest, averaging 10.9 yards per carry. Christian Cunningham added 51 yards on the ground, averaging 7.3 yards per carry.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Elbert heading to play Swink and Denver Christian taking on Front Range Christian.
