Holly couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Fowler squad, losing by a score of 68-22 on Friday.

Fowler quarterback Luke Bitter led the passing attack with 126 yards through the air, tossing two touchdowns without an interception. Bitter also added 58 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Joshua Daniels was also Fowler’s leading receiver on the day.

Fowler’s ground game was spearheaded by Daniels who accrued 174 yards and four touchdowns in the game, averaging 12.4 yards per carry. Daniels also tacked on 56 receiving yards. Jackson Bates added 168 yards and two touchdowns on the ground, averaging 33.6 yards per carry.

In addition to Dakota Eaton’s effort, Donovan Pecina lead the Holly ground game by running for 58 yards in the game, averaging 5.3 yards per carry.

In their next games, Holly will stay home and play Hoehne, while Fowler will travel to play Hoehne.
