Standley Lake couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Green Mountain squad, losing by a score of 36-13 on Friday.

Trey Towndrow led Green Mountain’s passing attack with 101 yards through the air. Towndrow also added 167 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. Austin Peterson lead all Green Mountain receivers with one catch for 44 yards and one score.

Green Mountain was lead by Jacob Chavez and his 85 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 8.5 yards per carry.

Kevin Starnes spearheaded the Standley Lake ground game by gaining 75 yards in the game, averaging 6.8 yards per carry.

Standley Lake will stay home and play Denver South, while Green Mountain will travel to play Falcon.
