Peetz couldn’t quite keep up with a strong North Park squad, losing by a score of 63-26 on Saturday.
Destry Schmidt powered North Park’s passing attack with 27 yards through the air. Schmidt also added 122 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. Schmidt’s most prolific receiver in the ballgame was Montgomery Ramsey, who caught one pass for 25 yards and one score.
Eli Houston lead the North Park rushing game by accumulating 156 yards and three touchdowns in the game, averaging 19.5 yards per carry. Brock Follett chipped in with 89 yards and one touchdown, averaging 11.1 yards per carry.
Cooper White led Peetz’s passing attack with 106 yards through the air, tossing two touchdowns and two interception. White also added 80 yards on the ground. White’s most relied on target in the game was Nolan Hill, who caught seven passes for 96 yards and two scores.
In addition to White’s effort, Hill paced the Peetz ground attack by running for 23 yards in the contest, averaging 11.5 yards per carry. Hill also tacked on 96 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
North Park will play host to Weldon Valley, while Peetz will travel to play Briggsdale.
