Palmer Ridge earned a win when they beat Pueblo South 24-19 on Friday.
Anthony Roberson ii led Palmer Ridge’s passing attack with 104 yards through the air. Roberson ii also added 85 yards on the ground. Roberson ii’s most prolific receiver in the ballgame was Kaden Dudley, who caught three passes for 64 yards.
Palmer Ridge’s ground game was paced by Raef Ruel who ran for 118 yards and three touchdowns in the contest, averaging 4.5 yards per carry.
Pueblo South quarterback Logan Petit led the passing attack with 174 yards through the air, throwing two touchdowns and two interceptions. Petit also added 64 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Jackson Dickerson lead all Pueblo South receivers with seven receptions for 138 yards and two scores.
George Longoria spearheaded the Pueblo South ground game by running for 125 yards in the game, averaging 6.2 yards per carry.
Looking ahead to their next games, Palmer Ridge will stay home and play Pine Creek, while Pueblo South will travel to play Lewis-Palmer.
