Las Animas couldn’t quite keep up with a potent Hoehne squad, losing by a score of 64-6 on Friday.

Weston Hill powered Hoehne’s passing attack with 196 yards through the air, tossing two touchdowns with no interceptions. Hill also added 100 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Hill’s most relied on target in the game was Grant Arellanes, who caught five passes for 121 yards. Antonio Moltrer got in on the action in the passing game as well, hauling in three balls for 66 yards and one touchdown.

Hoehne’s rushing attack was lead by Michael Armijo and his 95 yards and one touchdown on nine carries.

Las Animas quarterback Markus Vigil led the passing attack with 103 yards through the air, throwing one touchdown without an interception. Nick Chavez lead all Las Animas receivers with three receptions for 59 yards and one score.

In their next games, Hoehne will stay home and play Fowler, while Las Animas will travel to play Wiley.
