Overland handed Fountain-Fort Carson a loss in a 29-21 showdown on Friday.

Overland quarterback Martavia “Mark” Thrower led the passing attack with 194 yards through the air, throwing two touchdowns and one interception. Kamari Brown lead all Overland receivers with seven catches for 60 yards. Brown got in on the action in the passing game as well, reeling in seven balls for 60 yards. Overland also got 50 yards receiving from Jawan Lacour in the contest.

Smoov Roper (jaheim) spearheaded the Overland rushing attack by finishing with 130 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 10 yards per carry. Roper (jaheim) also tacked on 30 receiving yards.

Looking ahead to their next games, Overland will stay home and play Cherry Creek, while Fountain-Fort Carson will travel to play Legend.Fountain-Fort Carson has not reported any team or player statistics from this contest.
