Pine Creek easily handled Pueblo West by a score of 41-13 on Friday.
Gavin Herberg led Pine Creek’s passing attack with 201 yards through the air. Herberg also added 55 yards on the ground. Eddie Kyle lead all Pine Creek receivers with two receptions for 49 yards and one score.
David “dm3” moore iii lead all Pine Creek rushers with 202 yards and four touchdowns in the game, averaging 18.4 yards per carry. Spencer Peterson added 103 yards on the ground, averaging 11.4 yards per carry, as well as 31 receiving yards.
Chandler Mason powered Pueblo West’s passing attack with 171 yards through the air, tossing one touchdown and one interception. Reece Bundy lead all Pueblo West receivers with six catches for 62 yards. Alex Reid got in on the action in the passing game as well, catching five passes for 60 yards.
Pueblo West’s ground game was spearheaded by Jeremiah Sanchez who tallied 93 yards in the game, averaging 7.8 yards per carry.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Pine Creek heading to play Palmer Ridge and Pueblo West taking on Liberty.
