Dayspring Christian Academy handed Caliche a loss in a 24-18 showdown on Friday.
Christian Still powered Dayspring Christian Academy’s passing attack with 65 yards through the air. Still’s favorite target in the contest was Still, who caught one pass for 59 yards and one score. Caden Bonnell got involved in the passing game as well, snagging five balls for 52 yards.
Dayspring Christian Academy’s ground attack was spearheaded by Garrett Krehbiel who racked up 61 yards and two touchdowns in the contest, averaging 4.1 yards per carry.
In addition to Dylan Huss’ effort, Riley Stump paced the Caliche ground attack by running for 21 yards in the game.
In their next games, Dayspring Christian Academy will stay home and play Byers, while Caliche will travel to play South Park.
