Faith Christian earned a win when they beat University 26-7 on Friday.
Edoardo Castaneda spearheaded the Faith Christian rushing attack by finishing with 248 yards and two touchdowns in the contest, averaging 9.5 yards per carry.
Chayden Cox led University’s passing attack with 126 yards through the air. Cox also added 27 yards and one touchdown on the ground. University’s leading receiver was Tayt Chacon, who caught seven passes for 61 yards.
Caden Measner lead the University rushing attack by running for 57 yards in the contest, averaging 7.1 yards per carry.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Faith Christian heading to play Denver West and University taking on Eaton.
