Branson/Kim easily defeated La Veta by a score of 70-6 on Friday, Sept. 27.
Branson/Kim quarterback Kelton Davis led the passing attack with 44 yards through the air. Branson/Kim’s leading receiver was Isaac Provost, who caught three passes for 30 yards and two scores.
Finn Warner lead the Branson/Kim rushing attack by running for 144 yards and three touchdowns in the game, averaging 11.1 yards per carry. Teagan Keeler added 105 yards and two touchdowns on the ground, averaging 10.5 yards per carry.
Looking ahead to their next games, Branson/Kim will stay home and play Cotopaxi, while La Veta will travel to play Primero.
