Weldon Valley couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Briggsdale squad, losing by a score of 70-18 on Friday, Sept. 27.

Briggsdale quarterback Shane Donoho led the passing attack with 65 yards through the air. Shane Donoho’s most prolific target in the contest was Isiah Nava, who caught one pass for 28 yards and one score.

Briggsdale’s rushing game was paced by Malik Carlson who accrued 110 yards and two touchdowns in the contest, averaging 22 yards per carry. Coy Cox added 60 yards and two touchdowns on the ground, averaging 20 yards per carry.

Briggsdale will play host to Peetz, while Weldon Valley will travel to play North Park.

Weldon Valley has not reported any team or player statistics from this contest.
