Manual couldn’t quite keep up with a potent Burlington squad, losing by a score of 47-8 on Friday, Sept. 27 at Manual High School, Stadium.

Braxton Erker spearheaded the Burlington ground game by gaining 78 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 13 yards per carry. Garrett Richardson added 72 yards and one touchdown on the ground, averaging 36 yards per carry.

Lajayzhin Miles paced all Manual rushers with 58 yards in the contest, averaging 6.4 yards per carry.

Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Burlington heading to play Wray and Manual taking on Sheridan.
