Denver North easily defeated Denver West by a score of 28-6 on Friday, Sept. 27 at @ All City Stadium.
Michael Valdez spearheaded the Denver North rushing attack by gaining 156 yards and two touchdowns in the contest, averaging 11.1 yards per carry. Kenny Saiz added 82 yards and one touchdown on the ground, averaging 4.6 yards per carry. Izreal Garcia contributed 75 yards , averaging 12.5 yards per carry.
Denver West quarterback Joseph Valdez led the passing attack with 66 yards through the air. Valdez also added 41 yards on the ground. Na’marcus Williams lead all Denver West receivers with two catches for 88 yards and one score.
Alex Banuellos paced all Denver West rushers with 52 yards in the contest, averaging 4.3 yards per carry.
Denver West will stay home and play Faith Christian, while Denver North will travel to play Holy Family.
