Fort Lupton couldn’t quite keep up with a potent D’Evelyn squad, losing by a score of 44-8 on Friday, Sept. 27.
Shane Bishop powered D’Evelyn’s passing attack with 162 yards through the air. Bishop also added 35 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Bishop’s most relied on target in the ballgame was Thomas Lowry, who caught five passes for 119 yards and one score.
Jude Mcintyre paced the D’Evelyn ground attack by racking up 79 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 8.8 yards per carry. Noah Aurich added 73 yards on the ground, averaging 10.4 yards per carry.
Joseph Welch spearheaded the Fort Lupton rushing attack by finishing with 99 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 6.6 yards per carry.
D’Evelyn will play host to Middle Park, while Fort Lupton will travel to play Brush.
