Discovery Canyon handed Pueblo East a loss in a 34-20 showdown on Thursday, Sept. 26.

Jonah Isakson led Discovery Canyon’s aerial attack with 114 yards through the air, throwing one touchdown and one interception. Isakson also added 33 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Isakson’s most prolific receiver in the game was Ethan Hall, who caught four passes for 114 yards and one score.

Discovery Canyon’s ground game was lead by Marshall Pike who accrued 233 yards and three touchdowns in the game, averaging 10.1 yards per carry.

Jack Helzer powered Pueblo East’s passing attack with 245 yards through the air. Helzer’s favorite target in the game was Kaeden Bowman, who caught five passes for 128 yards and two scores. Marvin London Jr contributed in the passing game as well, grabbing 11 balls for 91 yards.

Noah Rivera lead the Pueblo East rushing attack by racking up 40 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 10 yards per carry.

Pueblo East will stay home and play Pueblo South, while Discovery Canyon will travel to play Littleton.
