Eaton easily defeated Bishop Machebeuf by a score of 44-8 on Friday, Sept. 27.
Scott Grable led Eaton’s passing attack with 113 yards through the air. Grable also added 58 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Juan Maravilla lead all Eaton receivers with three catches for 75 yards.
Eaton’s ground game was paced by Salvador Rojas who accrued 113 yards in the game, averaging 11.3 yards per carry. Ethan Florez added 60 yards and two touchdowns on the ground, averaging 10 yards per carry.
Bishop Machebeuf quarterback Ryan Schmitt led the passing attack with 50 yards through the air. Tommy Burns lead all Bishop Machebeuf receivers with two receptions for 40 yards.
Emmet Chavez lead all Bishop Machebeuf rushers with 72 yards in the game, averaging 7.2 yards per carry. Owen Thornton added 51 yards on the ground, averaging 4.2 yards per carry.
In their next games, Eaton will stay home and play University, while Bishop Machebeuf will travel to play Alameda.
