Holly couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Fowler squad, losing by a score of 68-22 on Friday, Sept. 27.
Fowler quarterback Luke Bitter led the aerial attack with 126 yards through the air, tossing two touchdowns with no interceptions. Bitter also added 58 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Joshua Daniels was also Fowler’s leading receiver on the day.
Daniels spearheaded the Fowler rushing attack by finishing with 174 yards and four touchdowns in the game, averaging 12.4 yards per carry. Daniels also tacked on 56 receiving yards. Jackson Bates added 168 yards and two touchdowns on the ground, averaging 33.6 yards per carry.
Holly’s rushing attack was lead by Donovan Pecina and his 58 yards on 11 carries.
Holly will stay home and play Hoehne, while Fowler will travel to play Hoehne.
