Grand Junction couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Fruita Monument squad, losing by a score of 31-0 on Friday, Sept. 27.

Denim Luster paced the Fruita Monument rushing attack by running for 134 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 5.4 yards per carry. Luster also tacked on 34 receiving yards.

Grand Junction’s ground attack was lead by Carson Loveridge who racked up 113 yards in the contest, averaging 5.4 yards per carry.

Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Fruita Monument heading to play Montrose and Grand Junction taking on Golden.
