Hoehne easily defeated Las Animas by a score of 64-6 on Friday, Sept. 27.
Weston Hill led Hoehne’s aerial attack with 196 yards through the air, tossing two touchdowns with no interceptions. Hill also added 100 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Hill’s most relied on target in the ballgame was Grant Arellanes, who caught five passes for 121 yards. Antonio Moltrer got involved in the passing game as well, reeling in three passes for 66 yards and one touchdown.
Hoehne was lead by Michael Armijo and his 95 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 10.6 yards per carry.
Las Animas quarterback Markus Vigil led the passing attack with 103 yards through the air, tossing one touchdown with no interceptions. Markus Vigil’s most prolific target in the contest was Nick Chavez, who caught three passes for 59 yards and one score.
Hoehne will stay home and play Fowler, while Las Animas will travel to play Wiley.
