Weld Central couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Resurrection Christian squad, losing by a score of 54-0 on Friday, Sept. 27 at @Severance High School; Homecoming.
Buck Coors led Resurrection Christian’s passing attack with 165 yards through the air, tossing three touchdowns with no interceptions. Coors also added 80 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Colton Stahla lead all Resurrection Christian receivers with one reception for 70 yards and one score.
Resurrection Christian’s rushing attack was lead by Tanner Applebee and his 44 yards on three carries.
Zayne Stam paced all Weld Central rushers with 49 yards in the game, averaging 6.1 yards per carry.
Resurrection Christian will play host to Berthoud, while Weld Central will travel to play Platte Valley.
