Sargent easily put away Dolores Huerta Prep by a score of 60-12 on Saturday, Sept. 28 at Heroes Middle School Field.
Kage Pepper led Sargent’s passing attack with 87 yards through the air. Pepper also added 46 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. Payton Brown lead all Sargent receivers with three catches for 78 yards.
Blake Behil paced the Sargent rushing attack by running for 165 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 20.6 yards per carry. Behil also tacked on one receiving touchdown. Wyatt Cross added 85 yards and three touchdowns on the ground, averaging 8.5 yards per carry.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Sargent hosting Norwood and Dolores Huerta Prep taking on Justice.
