Longmont couldn’t quite keep up with a potent Skyline squad, losing by a score of 34-0 on Friday, Sept. 27.
Skyline quarterback Chase Silva led the aerial attack with 83 yards through the air, throwing two touchdowns and one interception. Chase Silva’s most prolific receiver in the ballgame was Nick Peterson, who caught four passes for 43 yards and one score.
Mike McKrola spearheaded the Skyline rushing attack by running for 112 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 5.9 yards per carry. Grayden Bridwell added 81 yards on the ground, averaging 8.1 yards per carry.
In addition to Keegan Patterson’s effort, Brayden Engelking lead the Longmont ground game by accumulating 9 yards in the game.
In their next games, Skyline will play host to Holy Family, while Longmont will travel to play Silver Creek.
