ThunderRidge handed Doherty a loss in a 24-7 showdown on Thursday, Sept. 26.
ThunderRidge quarterback Brent Huber led the aerial attack with 152 yards through the air, throwing one touchdown without an interception. Huber also added 147 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Brent Huber’s favorite target in the contest was Chris Franquemont, who caught seven passes for 92 yards and one score.
ThunderRidge’s ground game was lead by Lucas Fish and his 68 yards on 11 carries.
Daymond Hill lead all Doherty rushers with 47 yards in the game, averaging 6.7 yards per carry.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with ThunderRidge hosting Mountain Vista and Doherty taking on Douglas County.
