Centaurus couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Wheat Ridge squad, losing by a score of 42-0 on Friday, Sept. 27.
Wheat Ridge quarterback Max Chrisensen led the passing attack with 92 yards through the air. Chrisensen also added 90 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. Sam Mcdonough lead all Wheat Ridge receivers with three receptions for 92 yards and one score.
Nick Von feldt spearheaded the Wheat Ridge ground game by finishing with 121 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 6 yards per carry. Francisco Munoz added 55 yards and one touchdown, averaging 6.9 yards per carry.
Anthony Medina lead all Centaurus rushers with 51 yards in the game, averaging 4.2 yards per carry.
In their next games, Wheat Ridge will play host to Liberty, while Centaurus will travel to play Heritage.
