Evergreen handed Palisade their first loss in a close 19-17 victory on Friday, Oct. 4.
Griffin Lauritano led Evergreen’s passing attack with 164 yards through the air. Lauritano also added 47 yards on the ground. Carter Cassin lead all Evergreen receivers with two catches for 49 yards.
Beck Barrett paced all Evergreen rushers with 61 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 4.1 yards per carry.
Palisade’s rushing attack was lead by Caden Sparks and his 62 yards and one touchdown on seven carries.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Evergreen heading to play George Washington and Palisade taking on Steamboat Springs.
