Fairview earned a win when they beat Legacy 49-31 on Friday, Oct. 4 at North Stadium.
Aidan Atkinson led Fairview’s passing attack with 349 yards through the air. Atkinson’s most reliable receiver in the contest was Henry Blackburn, who caught 12 passes for 228 yards and four scores. Grant Page contributed in the passing game as well, snagging four balls for 95 yards and three touchdowns.
Fairview’s ground game was paced by Dillon Tarves who accrued 78 yards in the game, averaging 13 yards per carry.
Legacy quarterback Adarius Edwards led the passing attack with 219 yards through the air. Edwards also added one touchdown on the ground. Adarius Edwards’ most prolific target in the game was Jacob Duran, who caught eight passes for 102 yards. Jaiden Peterson contributed in the passing game as well, reeling in 10 passes for 72 yards.
Legacy’s rushing attack was spearheaded by Dakota Key who tallied 208 yards and two touchdowns in the contest, averaging 5.3 yards per carry.
Fairview will play host to Horizon, while Legacy will travel to play Poudre.
