Ponderosa beat Vista Ridge by a score of 26-7 on Friday, Oct. 4 at Vista Ridge High School (Colorado Springs, CO).
Ponderosa quarterback Jack Hanenburg led the passing attack with 197 yards through the air, tossing two touchdowns and two interceptions. Hanenburg also added 59 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Kolton Miller lead all Ponderosa receivers with six catches for 74 yards.
Ponderosa was lead by Cael Porter and his 44 yards in the contest, averaging 4 yards per carry. Porter also tacked on one receiving touchdown.
Brayden Dorman led Vista Ridge’s passing attack with 196 yards through the air. Isaiah Garcia lead all Vista Ridge receivers with seven receptions for 75 yards.
Joshua Romain paced all Vista Ridge rushers with 28 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 4.7 yards per carry.
In their next games, Ponderosa will play host to Denver South, while Vista Ridge will travel to play Grand Junction Central.
